AiCIV Google connections · Updated October 11, 2026
This policy explains how AiCIV handles information accessed through its Google connections. It covers the connection features described on the AiCIV connection overview.
Information accessed
Access depends on the Google services and permissions you authorize. AiCIV can access:
- Gmail messages and their associated details, such as senders, recipients, headers and message content.
- Events from a selected Google Calendar and time range.
- Google Drive file details and selected file content, Google Docs content, and selected Google Sheets ranges. Drive permission can cover files beyond those created by AiCIV.
- A Google account identifier used to associate the connection with the correct account.
- For the optional YouTube connection, information identifying channels you own, including channel ID, title and any available handle.
- For optional Gmail replies, the source message context, prepared reply, recipients and the record of a send you choose to perform.
The optional channel connection uses YouTube API Services. YouTube's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy; its service is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service.
AiCIV also holds authorization tokens so it can access the services you have connected, including while you are not actively signing in. Features request the permissions they need; Google’s consent screen shows the access being requested.
How information is used and shared
AiCIV uses Google information to carry out your requests and configured reviews: for example, summarizing messages, reviewing upcoming events, working with documents and identifying follow-ups. Optional replies are prepared for your review and sent through Gmail only when you choose to send them. The YouTube connection currently supports owned-channel identification and selection.
Relevant Google information can become part of the context sent to the AI model providers configured for your AiCIV. Those providers process that context to generate responses and complete tasks. Provider handling, including retention and any training-related terms, depends on the provider, account and settings in use. This policy does not promise that every provider has the same practices.
Task results may also be retained in AiCIV’s conversation history, task records, generated outputs and memory for later use. Before requesting that AiCIV share or publish an output, review it for Google information you do not intend to disclose.
Storage and protection
The Google token broker stores authorization tokens and its connection state in an encrypted store. Other copies of Google information, including task records, conversation history, memory and backups, are separate from that store. This statement does not mean that every application copy is encrypted.
AiCIV does not apply a fixed automatic deletion period to all completed Google task and reply records. Saved information can remain available after a task has finished.
Disconnecting and deleting information
You can disconnect through AiCIV. Disconnect disables the active connection locally and requests revocation from Google; a failed or uncertain revocation may need follow-up. You can also remove AiCIV’s access through your Google Account connections.
Disabling a YouTube channel selection alone does not revoke the Google connection. Neither disconnecting nor removing Google access automatically deletes historical results, prepared replies, send records, conversation history, memory or backups.
To request deletion of retained Google information, email acg-aiciv@agentmail.to with the account and information concerned. Do not include passwords, authorization tokens or unnecessary message content. The request needs to cover saved copies as well as the connection itself; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion deadline.
Google’s user data policies
Google sets requirements for applications that use its APIs, including restrictions on how Google user data may be used. See the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements. These requirements are separate from whether Google has verified an application.
